After two wonderful years in Kansas City, we have decided to pick up shop and move! As many of you know, my husband, Zach, works for Amazon. For the past few years, he has worked in warehouse operations and will be leaving his current role as a Senior Operations Manager. His new role will be…

Aloha, everyone! As winter comes to a close and we begin to look forward to the summer, the warm weather cravings set in! Granted, Missouri winters are way less intense than Wisconsin and Minnesota winters (sorry Missourians, winters here are not THAT bad!). Winters in Wisconsin/Minnesota can start as early as October and stretch easily…

Reason 10,000 why I love living in Washington 💙🌊🏔
Trying to take a good picture with a dog and a toddler 🤪 So excited for the upcoming hiking season! The rain can stop anytime now!
May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month. If you have family history of skin cancer, get a skin check. If you haven’t had a skin check in a while, get a skin check. If you’ve never had a skin check, get a skin check. If you’ve had a sun burn, used a tanning bed, been inconsistent with sunscreen use (every single day, people!!), spend lots of time in the sun, get a skin check!! In the last several years, I’ve had five moles removed. Out of those five, two came back from pathology as “concerning”. This resulted in an incision on my shoulder, a circular incision on my leg, and an incision on my lower abdomen (to harvest skin to fill the incision on my leg). Luckily for me, everything came back negative for skin cancer. But I’m left with these obvious daily reminders. I see them almost every time I look in a mirror. They remind me to apply sunscreen every single day. To wear a large brimmed hat while I’m in the sun. To wear protective clothing if I will be outside during the peak sun of the day. Be your biggest advocate and get a skin check. Find me in the shade 😎
It was so fun to be tourists in our own town this weekend!
Best promotion I’ve ever received 🥰 Happy Mother’s Day! 💕
Mondays are good days too 💙
